8/3/10
A resident was walking up the top of Spring Grove and found a bunch of un-postmarked mail from residents of Greenfield.  It looked like someone took the outgoing mail from the mailbox and stole payment checks and then dumped the rest of the mail.

While leaving outoing mail in the mailbox for the postman is convenient for you, IT IS UNSAFE AND A SURE WAY FOR YOUR IDENTITY TO BE STOLEN.  PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND DON'T LEAVE PAYMENT MAIL IN YOUR MAILBOX FOR THE POSTMAN.  Also, if you are a victim of this it is important you report it to the Post Office and the San Rafael Police Department.

7/11-13/10 - Santa Margarita Avenue:  A family member with a rental car was visiting from out of town.  Sometime between Sunday morning and Tuesday morning, someone tampered with the gas tank, stuffing something into the filling tube at the top, thus making it impossible to pump gas into the tank.  It had to have happened while parked in front of our home at 244 Santa Margarita.  No police report was filed as they were on their way to the airport before this was discovered.

6/28/10 - An attempted car break-in on Santa Margarita around 3:00 AM.  Suspects:  two males in dark SUV.  Police will do extra patrols.

6/22/10 - One vehicle stolen on Neame Street.
