WENA’s purpose is to create a vibrant, connected, safe community. Whether you choose to become a member or not, you are welcome to enjoy and participate in the neighborhood events and services including:

• The Annual Meeting – a Spring event in which we create a forum for members of the West End to speak with one another and city officials about issues of concern to our community.
• The Annual Picnic — A Summer event that is great fun for the whole family. From food to face painting, live music to laughter in the playground, local information to local performers, this is WENA’s big event of the year.
• “Get Ready Marin” – One hour basic disaster preparedness classes by a trained instructor
• The neighborhood newsletter, hand delivered to your home and a color version to your email inbox
• The WENA website, providing the latest information about upcoming events, updates on relevant city projects, helpful links to city services, and more.

However, if you decide to join you will also be invited to participate in the Members Summer Social and the Members Holiday Social.

And there is much more still to be done. For example, we would like to extend our ability to:

• Create an even greater sense of community by delivering a “Welcome Packet” for new residents to our neighborhood.
• Actively influence the future of San Rafael by participating in beautification projects along the Miracle Mile and other projects

While all of these services are available to all our residents, none of them would be possible without the support of our active members. Please take this opportunity to join your neighbors and become a member of your neighborhood association.
