| Welcome to the West End Neighborhood Association
The West End neighborhood is located on the west end of San Rafael, California. It spans both sides of Fourth Street, along the "Miracle Mile." Our neighborhood is the west entrance to the eclectic West End Village shopping district on Fourth Street. Founded in 1977 as a non-profit, non-partisan association, WENA is dedicated to fostering community and to enhancing the quality of life for our residents, both homeowners and renters.

Sharlene Recognized by the City
Congratulations to Sharlene, our WENA president, for her recognition by the City Council for her extraordinary level of contribution to the city of San Rafael. Fourteen members of the neighborhood joined in on the celebration that recognized her efforts and results over the last three years. The presentation was made at the June 21st council meeting.
The resolution concludes with: "Be it Resolved that the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Rafael hereby commend Sharlene Moss for her tireless and selfless efforts on behalf of the City of San Rafael." The resolution is signed by the mayor, all four city council members and the city manager.
